Prom Queen and Radio 3 presenter Katie Derham explores the power of the arts to enrich people’s lives in Just The Tonic, a brand new eight-part podcast series. In each episode, Katie meets members of the fantastic community orchestra from the West Midlands, The People’s Orchestra. Episodes also feature organisations whose work helps make the world a better place. They include Sistema Scotland, Changing Tunes and Paraorchestra. Katie’s guests include Nicola Benedetti, Charles Hazlewood, Sir James MacMillan, Emily Watson and Chi-Chi Nwanoku. Gill Davies was commissioned by Peanut and Crumb to produce the series.
