One of our favourite projects of 2021. For Arts Council England/Creative Scotland/BBC Arts/The Space Culture in Quarantine commission, Gill Davies mentored poet Ellen Renton and illustrator/animator Jess Fig during the production of their fantastic Aisle film where poetry, animation and vocal soundscape came together in an exploration of the everyday ableism faced by disabled people. A really original abnd innovative piece of work. It was a real pleasure to work with Ellen and Jess on their first TV commission. Gill Davies was commissioned by The Space to mentor and produce Aisle with Ellen and Jess.
