An audio tour for the Before and After Coal | Images and Voices from Scotland’s Mining Communities exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to work with artist Nicky Bird who met with individuals and families connected to the photographs American photographer Milton Rogovin took when he visited Scottish mining communities in 1982. Nicky updated Rogovin’s documentation exploring the history and lasting impact of coal on the communities.
